This would be a huge trade near or on Draft weekend that would help both teams imo.

If you know hockey and The NHL you understand why both clubs would make a proposal like this.

Leo Carlsson, Cutter Gauthier and probably Mason McTavish are untouchables.
They will be the Ducks top 3 centers for the next decade.
I doubt very much if the Ducks would even consider trading any one of them for a right wing who disappears in the playoffs.

Zegras is the only guy I could see the Ducks considering giving Leafs for Marner.
And I doubt Leafs want a player with Zegras’s attitude issues.

Both Teams looking to do something and this would be a big one at The Draft, Flyers get the best player in this proposal and The Leafs get better depth in this proposal.
Curious if anyone believes something this big might happen.

Leafs focus on getting a Top 2 younger Defenceman get's them that in a big way, yes it's a lot to give up but worth the price imo.

Red Wings in that still rebuilding mode and yes trading Seider would be something they wouldn't normally do, but getting that package replaces more than what they have currently.
